R44 Explorer Lesson - All as Discovery but now flight between 40-45 minutes. Total lesson time of 90-120 minutes.
Learn to fly a helicopter with our CAA approved flying lesson scheme. Your first chance to experience the sensation and exhilaration of flying a helicopter. The short sortie incorporates a full 30 minute pre flight briefing to explain the principles of flight and the controls of the aircraft.
Once airborne, your instructor will demonstrate each of the controls before inviting you to take each of them yourself. This is the initial stage of learning to fly, the flight time can be logged towards your licence.
