True Day/Night 580/700 TVL IR Bullet CCTV Camera with 50 Metres Night Vision, Auto Iris Varifocal Lens, Dynamic Night View, Smart DNR & Highlight Suppression Technology
Model Number: XPB621
Code: 1802
Overview
The highest specification IR Night Vision Bullet camera with up to 50 metres night vision in complete darkness, High Light Suppression Technology (for perfect Number Plate Recognition, even when a cars headlights are on full beam) and Dynamic Night View feature for excellent vision in Colour down to 0.0003 Lux (Clear Night Sky with a Full Moon). Uses the latest Samsung Winner 4 DSP and an Xvision Pixel+ Auto Iris Varifocal Aspherical Lens for easy selection of any viewing angle between 17 and 85° and class leading picture quality of up to 700 TVL. The Digital Noise Reduction feature reduces the noise on the picture resulting in a clearer picture than traditional Day/Night cameras and making the picture size smaller when being recorded on a DVR, so longer recordings are possible! The camera is weatherproof without the need for a separate housing, while still being small enough to use internally. It is tidier looking and smaller than traditional long range IR cameras thanks to it bullet shaped form factor. It is designed for wall or ceiling mounting as supplied or pole and corner mounting using the optional brackets. The wall bracket supplied is fully cable managed and 3 axis for complete flexibility when mounting the camera. An optional matching Junction Box is available which fixes on to the end of the camera bracket and will allow connections to be terminated inside and also allow connection to conduit/trunking. In conclusion the XPB621 is the worlds most powerful, flexible and professional solution for demanding applications where perfect results are required.
Features
- Ideal for very high risk applications, the camera is built around a Sony 1/3" Ex View CCD image sensor which provides identification quality images.
- The camera features built in IR (Infra Red) LEDs, these allow the camera to see in low light or complete darkness up to 50 metres. The camera shows Colour images in good lighting conditions and then switches to B/W images in low light or complete darkness, when in this mode the camera can see the light produced by the IR LEDs and provide good quality images as if it was daylight, however to the human eye the light emitted from the IR LEDs remains invisible!

- The camera will operate in light levels down to 0.0003 lux, making it suitable for use in any environment that has a light level above 0.0003 lux. Examples of environments that have a light level above 0.0003 lux are:
Clear Night Sky with a Full Moon
A Bar or Nightclub
- The camera is fitted with a 3.5 to 16.0mm auto iris varifocal aspherical lens. The camera has an adjustable horizontal viewing angle of 17 to 85° when used with this lens.

- The camera features a Samsung Winner 4 DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip with Xvision X4H DSP Software which offers the following functions to increase the image sensors performance:
Automatic Electronic Iris - This feature automatically adjusts the brightness of the camera image to match the amount of available light.

Automatic White Balance - This feature automatically adjusts the colour temperature of the camera image to match the type of light available, so that white and other colours appear as natural as possible.

Automatic Gain Control - This feature automatically increases the video output level of the camera in low light conditions. This has the effect of making the picture brighter (however it may also add more noise to the picture, as it is amplifying all aspects of the video signal)

Multi Zone Back Light Compensation (Super Dynamic Range) - This feature makes objects in front of a bright scene (such as a window on a bright sunny day) clearer to see by increasing their brightness and making the background darker. The Multi Zone feature allows the selection of various preset back light patterns to cope with the most common backlight issues, for example a Window scene, an entrance scene, a car headlight scene etc...

Low Smear - This feature helps to balance out the camera image when some areas of it may be looking at very bright or reflective objects.

Edge Enhancement - This feature sharpens the edges of objects and people in the camera image making the picture sharper and the resolution higher.

Zero Colour Rolling - This feature stops the colours in the image from changing hue every few seconds (also known as hunting or colour rolling). This happens to all colour CCD cameras that do not have this feature when used in environments where 2 different light environments are visible, for example when viewing a room that is lit up by a light bulb and also by light coming in through a window. It can also occur when viewing rooms that have Fluorescent Tube Lights.
Dynamic Night View (Digital Slow Shutter) - This feature provides clear images in Colour without the need for IR LEDs down to 0.002 lux, this is achieved by using Field Integration, please note due to the way in which field integration works, whilst it is in operation the frame per second will reduce. The darker the scene the lower the frames per second.

Smart DNR (3D Digital Noise Reduction) - This feature reduces the noise on the image when viewing in low lux environments (like at night), this reduces the size of the image when being recorded by a DVR, resulting in a saving of disk space. The 3D function reduces the noise on all 3 dimensions of an object, resulting in a better image than is possible with standard Digital Noise Reduction.

Motion Detection - Ideal for use in large systems the camera has built in motion detection, as soon as motion is detected it will alert the operator b displaying a Motion Detected message over the video image.

Privacy Zones - This feature will hide from view any areas of the cameras view that are private, an essential feature for fully complying with the Data Protection Act.

Digital Image Stabilising - This feature stops picture shake, for example when the camera is mounted externally it may vibrate or move slightly due to the wind or other factor. The camera samples each image before displaying it and synchronises it with the next image so that the picture shake is not visible, this also helps to prevent false alarms when using motion detection.

Highlight Suppression Technology (Number Plate Recognition Technology) - This feature identifies bright spots in the picture and suppresses them by masking them, allowing the rest of the scene to be viewed clearly. The most common application of this technology is to mask out the headlights of a vehicle so that the number plate can be seen clearly.

Mechanical IR Filter for True Day/Night - Standard Day/Night cameras can suffer from slight focus shift when viewing in IR mode and whilst they can display colour accurately in daylight and white light such as fluorescent tube lights, they cannot display colours accurately in non-white lighting, such as sodium lamps, and off white lighting, similar to that found in pubs etc... Cameras with a mechanical IR filter can overcome both of these problems and also provide much better performance in low light and under IR than Standard Day/Night cameras, as well as sharper images, this is because the IR filter is automatically applied and removed to provide the best possible picture quality according to whether the camera is in day or night mode.

- The camera is weatherproof without the need for a separate housing, while still being small enough to use internally. It is tidier looking and smaller than traditional long range IR cameras thanks to it bullet shaped form factor.
- It is designed for wall or ceiling mounting as supplied or pole and corner mounting using the optional brackets (see 'Accessories' tab for more info).
- The wall bracket supplied is fully cable managed and 3 axis for complete flexibility when mounting the camera.
- An optional matching Junction Box is available which fixes on to the end of the camera bracket and will allow connections to be terminated inside and also allow connection to conduit/trunking (see 'Accessories' tab for more info).
- The camera is supplied with a 3 Year Warranty (1 Year for LEDs).
