The machine is quite powerful and extremely robust and rightly so. The precision however and the cosmetics of the machine leaves a lot to be desired. The saw is actually a very excellent saw blade attached to a more than adequate engine, i.e. 2.2 Hp. This makes sawing of construction metal pleasurably light as a feather. All and all it fulfills the tasks it is made for after some highly necessary tweaking very satisfactory.

For the price this is a great tool. I am sure a Dewalt or something might feel sturdier and probably twice the price but to be honest I am more than happy with the raptor. We are using it to cut metal strut lots of them and it breezes through it.
