The HYMIG-200I is a heavy duty and incredibly versatile single phase MIG/MMA welder from Hyundai. The HYMIG-200I is capable of welding mild steel from 0.8mm to 8mm.
Weighing only 48kg, the HYMIG-200I is easy to transport thanks to its mounted handles on the heavy duty steel case with powder coated finish for extra corrosion resistance and trolley wheels with Gas bottle holder at rear. Accessories include MIG welding torch with 3m cable, earth clamp with 2.5m cable and brush.
The HYMIG-200I MIG welder features a stepless regulator for infinite variable control of the welding current with a low current facility for effective welding of thinner materials. The welding (output) current of the HYMIG-200I can be regulated within the range of 50-200 Ampere making the HYMIG-200I adjustable to suit welding different materials and thicknesses of steel.
Beware of lower quality models by always checking the ‘Duty Cycle’. Duty cycle is the amount of time, within a 10 minute period the welder can be used, on a given output. For example, this 200A welder has a duty cycle of 60% when used on 200A output (MIG). This means it can be used for six minutes in any ten minute period.
Cheaper, lower quality welders claim to be a certain Amperage output, but can have a very low duty cycle on the output they have claimed. Always check the duty cycle to ensure you are getting the best value for money.

Bought this to replace an old Kemppi , Arrived very well packaged & already assembled .However the supplier I purchased it from did not supply a regulator or plug with it so bear this in mind . The instructions are printed on a small pamphlet which does not translate to English as well as it could .The welding parameters are printed in small writing in the pamphlet and not replicated in a poster attached to the inside of the machine ( unlike most pro welders we have used ) This said we found that after a few minutes we were producing near enough factory grade welds on structural grade steel , Very pleased so far . Dear Hyundai please improve the instruction manual & print the parameters inside the machine .

Unfortunately the welder was supplied with the wrong gas regulator which wouldn't fit the BOC cylinder that I use (Argoshield). My problem was eventually resolved by the Hyundai importers but it did take a time with lots of chasing. If you use Co2 you might be O.K. but check first. I've done a quick test with the welder and it seems O.K. maybe good value for money but time will tell.
