Bought one and its a bit worrying. No instructions despite there being two types of blades and two centre drill I have no idea which ones are used for which type of materials. In the picture the spring is shown inside the cowl. This makes no sense as I can see it should be outside thecowl thus pressing the cowl against the work piece. Otherwise i cannot see what the spring achieves. Other reviews on other sites have pointed this out also. Be carefull to check the cross bar is centred correctly - mine was not. The TCT tipped blades were already fitted to the cross bar but I cannot decide if they are in correctly. Maybe one blade is back-to-front. Either one blade is supposed to cut the outer edge of a strip (so the diameter of hole you require) and one blade cuts the inner edge of the same strip (which is how the unit arrived). OR. Perhaps the second blade is in back to front in which case, once turned round, the TCT tip of that blade should be trailing as the tool rotates and then both blades cut the same diameter. Of course some instructions might help with this.The photo on the box is not quite clear enough to judge which way round might be correct. Overall, for the price, I am stunned there are no instructions given the price and how solid the unit feels. I am renowned for not needing instructions but still reading them - but in this case I am not sure what is correct. Have not used it yet as unsure if I will.
