The YAL two section sliding aluminium loft ladder is a robust access option that is ideal for commercial and domestic applications alike.
Tested and certified to BS 7553 Class H (Heavy Duty), the YAL is proven to perform reliably and consistently under the pressure of frequent use.
The unit is supplied complete with 2 handrails, spring assisted pivot arm operation, full fittings and operating pole. The YAL’s sturdy manufacture includes 75mm deep slip-resistant treads and will suit a range of applications.
It suits floor to floor heights between 2300mm and 3250mm, and opening sizes from 700mm(L)x520mm(W). Vertical clearence in loft: 1.03m

The Ladder was delivered promptly and with the help of a tradesman was put up in about two and a half hours. The ladder once installed was a huge improvement in the rather standard wooden one it replaced. Though not inexpensive a really good quality and relatively easy to install ladder.

Good quality item,great for use as a loft ladder, instructions not brilliant, casual DIY person might struggle, and as others have said WHY the CRAPPY screws. 4 stars due to the 2 mentioned items otherwise it would be 5.

Well worth the money for a strong positive ladder with comfortable steps you can stand on. Easy to use and put away which is why I bought it. Make sure you check measurements of your loft access before purchasing, I did and had no problems.

Very pleased with the Youngmans delux loft ladder which is a very good quality product. The ladder was delivered as stated the next Working day. I have been trying to purchase this product from a chain store for 2 months, and had to cancel the order as they were unable supply the ladder.

Looks and feels study and good quality. Never install this make before but instructions are good so no problem. Only negative was the screws supplied were not of good quality and heads shredded.

Very happy with this purchase. It is very strong and sturdy with treads rather than rungs. Luckily my loft hatch is 30 inches square, if it were smaller there could be a problem getting items in and out of the loft. It is ok for my situation and am very pleased. JK
