The Evacuator Synergy RF Smoke Detector is a completely wireless smoke detection unit. Powered by a long-life sealed battery pack, it connects to compatible devices via radio frequency. It can be installed quickly and easily thanks to its user-friendly 'plug and play' firmware.
If smoke is detected within the vicinity of this unit, its built-in 85dB sounder will sound. It will also transmit information concerning its activation wirelessly to other devices on the system, and linked non-detector units equipped with sounders and strobes will be able to raise the alarm.
It is IP65 rated, offering protection from dust ingress and low pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it ideal for use outdoors and on construction sites.
The battery pack (included) has an approximate lifespan of 7 months in standby mode, and is designed to run between the system's regular maintenance intervals.
The Smoke Detector and all other products in this range use Class 1 receivers, significantly reducing the likelihood of interference from other nearby radio devices. They are independently tested to ETSI-300-220-1 and CE compliant.
