LUMBERJACK DECKING TREATMENT is a ready to use decking treatment for preserving and restoring timber decking and end grain. The fungicides and pesticides present in the formulation are finely dispersed so that wood penetration and hence effectiveness is much greater than standard decking treatments. It is specifically formulated to provide long term protection for timber decking and end grain against all types of wood decay, mould & wood staining fungi and wood boring insects.
LUMBERJACK DECKING TREATMENT is natural oak in colour and can therefore also be used to restore weather worn and tired looking timber decking.

Areas for use
LUMBERJACK DECKING TREATMENT can be used on most types of timber decking and for treating end grain.
The product is virtually odourless and non-flammable. Can be over painted, stained or varnished when dry.
Limitations
• Ready to use - do not dilute.
• Always test an inconspicuous area/off cut prior to full application.
• Avoid contact with bitumen, roofing felt or plastics.
• It is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability for use. If in doubt, contact Technical Services Department for advice.
Surface Preparation
Ensure that timber to be treated is clean. Any paint or other surface coatings should be removed prior to application of preservative. Remove any decayed decking and replace with sound decking prior to application.
Application
This product is ready to use.
Read statutory conditions relating to use prior to application.
Shake well before use. Apply by brush, spray or dipping. Apply a minimum of two coats if brushing or spraying. The second coat should be applied after the first coat has soaked in but before it is dry. Pay particular attention to thoroughly dipping or flooding the end grain.
Coverage Guide
Apply 2-3 coats at a rate of 1 litre of product per 3 - 4m² of surface
Dip end grains for a minimum of 10 minutes
