The Hyundai HY30100 Pro series air compressor is part of the heavy duty, professional Hyundai compressor series and is a solid piece of kit. Built to be put to work, the motor on this super reliable machine is rated at 3hp and has a solid twin cylinder air pump. The motor itself is a 230v single phase motor and is copper wound. It has a 2-cylinder, cast iron pump and with it being a Pro Series machine, it is made to an industrial quality.
As with all professional and high quality Hyundai air compressors, it comes with key design features for effective working, and in the case of the HY30100, it is built with a twin pressure gauge and has an automatic stop/start pressure switch, making this the ideal compressor for everyday general workshop use. It is a wheel mounted compressor, meaning that the solid 100 litre air receiver tank can still be transported from one place to another, and the wheels and handles make for easy movement around the workshop, yet the rubber feet keep it rooted to the spot when stationary.
A belt drive machine, this allows the compressor to regulate it's output, meaning the power recieved from the compressor is more measured and the overall lifespan of the machine is extended. With a maximum pressure of 8.8bar or 128psi , and with an output of 12.5CFM, the HY30100 is the best of both worlds in terms of power and size, and is an ideal commercial air compressor.
