The Hyundai heavy duty wood chipper makes quick and easy work of small to medium-sized branches making garden maintenance and clearance much easier.
The garden shredder has a strong but efficient Hyundai engine and the large hopper mouth gives the chipper the capability of tackling tree branches up to 70mm in diameter with ease, producing great wood chips for the garden.
The large pneumatic tyres and handle make manoeuvrability simple over any terrain and the front mounted tool box adds handy storage for tools.

This machine is more limited in its capabilities than I was expecting. I gave up trying to chop beech hedge and juniper cuttings and set light to them instead. The machine is now at the back of the shed waiting for some straight, dry cuttings that are without leaves. Good service from Sitebox though so the star rating is for them and not the Hyundai chipper.

Overall, a good tool and I have found it to be very productive. Two quibbles though: I chip a range of wood, from sizeable branches to twigs, often with leaves and conifer needles attached. After some time, the bottom of the chipping tray becomes full of small pieces of material, eventually clogging the machine totally and stopping the engine. Clearing requires removal of both the feed hopper and the lower section discharge chute, and preferably the use of a vacuum cleaner. The second point is that, while the removal of the discharge chute is fairly easy, the spaces between the retaining bolts on the feed hopper flange and the vertical sides of the hopper are two small to fit a ring spanner or ratchet spanner. (The welds limit this gap).Removal requires the use of a manual, open ended spanner, a slow, laborious process, for six bolts, two awkwardly placed under the hopper. A fractionally wider flange, only 2-3 mm, would solve this problem.
