The Pacific Laser Systems PLS1 Laser Distance Meter is a newly released digital measuring device for quick and easy distance measurements. Accurate within ±1/16 inch, this compact handheld distance laser measures up to 265 feet. Results are clearly displayed on the 1-line illuminated LCD.

Practical Functions

The PLS1 laser measurer adds and subtracts and computes area and volume calculations. Continuous measuring allows you to take measurements even while in motion, while the min/max mode determines the shortest or longest distance from a fixed reference point. You can measure distances through an obstruction using the Pythagoras function and the stake out mode enables pre-determined distances to be set up.

Integral Features

Accurate results are displayed in feet, inches and meters on the Pacific Laser Systems PLS1’s 1-line illuminated display. A flip-out multifunctional endpiece helps gauge precise distances from corners and edges and measurement reference points include the front and rear of the laser distance meter. The PLS1 laser distance meter can store up to 10 measured results and can mount on a ¼-20 tripod for added stabililty.

The Pacific Laser Systems laser measuring tool is powered by 2 AAA batteries that can take up to 3,000 measurements. In order to increase the life of your batteries, the laser automatically turns off after 90 seconds and the instrument shuts down after 3 minutes of idle activity. The compact distance meter is IP54 dust and water resistant.
