SCH have designed this rake in response to the many request from people who are cultivating wild flower meadows and wish to be able to remove the top cuttings, This rake will carry out the task effectively with minimum effort.
The rake is easily emptied from the tractor seat - pull the rope - the tines will lift to release the sweepings. For transport the tines are able to be locked into the 'up' position.
For sweeping finer cut grass, we recommend the HR19
A ball hitch can be fitted as an optional extra, as per picture.
NB This is a hay rake, not a grass sweeper

Well made, nicely finished it really looked the job and very good value, then I tried it. The raking action is good and the width and weight is well matched to a mid range garden tractor. But when I came to pull the rope that lifts the tines to drop the hay it is hopeless. As a retired ag machinery engineer I would describe it as a good first prototype, and I believe it would be easy to reconfigure it without additional cost. I intend to modify mine but hesitate as the necessary grinding and welding will ruin the paint job.
