Tough as old boots and pretty sturdy. Proceed with caution, as it’s got a really torquey motor and could catch you unawares if there are buried bricks or large stones (which I encountered). Modified my technique doing a little at a time and worked fine. Like a knife through butter in ordinary soil though, no issues digging deep enough for the 2.4 metre posts required for my 1.8 metre high fencing. A clutch or soft start would get this five stars. Fast delivery and competitively priced.
