This combination belt and disc sander is suitable for DIY and trade use. It performs the role of two tools in one. The disc is used for precise edge work such as mitre joints and truing outside curves. The belt allows you to flatten faces and edges, shape contours and smooth inside curves.

Great sanding machine. But be careful of that disc... it removes material very quickly! Fortunately I was able to sand an additional 1/8" from the rest of my horizontal members and make the whole thing slightly narrower :o) The table attached to the belt sander is not especially accurate with it's level and only supported on one side, but it is still very good for the home enthusiast.
