9.20 2025-06-24Clarke Emery Cloth is a durable fabric backed emery cloth that is easy to tear into strips but also provides increased flexibility for when it is needed most, such as with contour sanding, making it perfect for applications such as polishing rounded metal. Clarke Emery Cloth is also ideal for rust removal, deburring and general conditioning of metal surfaces.
Suitable for workshops and garages, the high quality aluminium oxide grit provides a fast and consistent cut, which is resin bonded to the cloth. This ensures a greater durability so that debris isn't left behind on the prepared surface, providing a superior finish. When preparing a surface, users should progress from coarse grits (P40) through to finer grits (P240) to achieve a perfect surface, ready for finishing.
