Flex WSE500 Giraffe Drywall Sander

The Flex WSE500 Drywall Sander (Flex code 381.306) is the long standing most popular drywall sander on the market. It has replaced the old Classic FLEX WS 702 VEA model and is known as the new 'Classic' drywall sander. It is commonly used on building sites throughout the UK and Europe and is widely popular due to the perfect spring suspension in the head which allows the sanding head itself to adjust to any unevenness. This helps with the sander making gentle contact with the wall or ceiling and also only allows minimal dust to escape, which is always an advantage on the Health and Safety Conscious sites of today.

The Flex WSE500 also has VE electronic control: with constant speed control and speed pre-selection with adjusting wheel. The dust extraction system is second to none and fits harmoniously with the WSE500. It is called the Flex VCE35LAC Dust Extractor and can be found below. The 10-hole extraction ports prevents premature clogging of the abrasive and promotes a healthy, dust-free working environment. Both the Flex WSE500 Drywall Sander and the Flex VCE35LAC are available in 110 and 240 volts.

For the first time with the unique unique Vario-Giraffe WST 700 VV  there is now a long-neck sander - equipped with a unique interchangeable head system - which can 'stretch'. Along with sanding large surfaces, the innovative triangular sanding head has now also made it possible to seamlessly sand up to edges and into corners. Without the need for a ladder or scaffolding. This allows for a direct finish of the corners and edges. The work of painters, drywall constructors, plastering specialists and many other trades was revolutionised with the introduction by FLEX of the first Giraffe WS 702 VEA long-neck sander for wall and ceiling working in Europe in 1997.  The FLEX Giraffe is the world's most widely-sold long-neck sander.
