Silicon carbide has a higher friability than other types of sanding grain, thus providing a longer life on harder materials with rougher surfaces. When it comes to obtaining a superior finishing, no other type of sandpaper can compare to silicon carbide, and the Clarke Wet & Dry Silicon Carbide Roll 5M x 115mm P120 is the ideal product.

This product is perfect for wet sanding applications, such as polishing stone and marble and automotive polishing applications. In coarser grits, this abrasive is good for removing rust, deburring metal and glass, and refinishing wood. Silicon carbide is the only grain suitable for use on glass, stone and marble, proving to be highly effective on harder metals.
