Manufactured from thin strands of polypropylene fibre forming a large surface area, they easily attract and hold oil even in the most adverse conditions. Pom Poms can recover 20 – 60 times their own weight depending on the viscosity of the oil. They can be individually deployed onto the contaminated surface, or strung together on a rope to form a type of boom.
