A cost-effective, high-quality alternative to the premium DQ1 hydraulic unit of Mustang Tools’ manhole cover lifters, our DQ3 Chinook Manhole Cover Lifter is the perfect solution for a quick and easy removal of a heavy manhole cover on site or at home.

The DQ3 Chinook Manhole Cover Lifter requires only one operator to function, with its straightforward design prioritising the safety of the operator by preventing strain or injury on high-risk areas such as the back or fingers.

After placing the Chinook over the cover and attaching the keys, the DQ3 lifter requires only a simple clockwise rotation of the handles at both ends for the manhole cover to rise.

To gain full access to the manhole, simply pull the end of the Chinook with a nylon wheel, and the frame with the cover attached will easily pivot and roll away.

Just as the DQ2 Spreader Bars function as a seal break for stubborn manhole covers, the Chinook automatically breaks stiff and tight seals.

With convenient storage space for the 2 pairs of keys provided, the Chinook’s compact framework makes it also easily transportable, as it can comfortably fit into the boot of a car.

As with the DQ1 unit, a range of manhole covers can be raised, with square, rectangle, round, triangular, and split covers easily lifted by the Chinook.

The DQ3 Chinook is able to lift covers with hole centres from 50mm to 850mm; and a mx weight of 200kg.
