Description

The Artificial Surface Grooming Rake (ASR2) is purpose-built to deliver efficient, routine maintenance for artificial playing surfaces constructed with a sand base. Engineered for reliability and ease of use, the ASR2 ensures consistent surface performance and extended playing life through regular grooming.

With a 48" working width, the ASR2 connects easily via a clevis or 50 mm ball hitch, making it compatible with a wide range of towing units.

Two rows of staggered spring tines work through the playing surface to alleviate compaction, improve drainage, and rejuvenate the pile structure. In heavily compacted areas, an integrated weight tray allows adding ballast to increase tine penetration.

A trailing brush completes the grooming process by levelling and finishing the surface, leaving the play area clean, even, and ready for prolonged use. Each tine row can be raised independently, allowing operators to tailor the grooming action to specific site requirements—for example, operating solely with the brush or a selected tine row.

Designed for simplicity and safety, the ASR2 can be towed by tractors of 13 hp and above, and easily lifted out of work for transport or storage.

The unit arrives fully assembled for immediate use.
