Description

The SCH D48 Dethatcher Attachment, when mounted to the 48" Carrier Frame, is a highly effective tool for revitalising turf by removing heavy thatch buildup and stimulating new grass growth. Featuring four rows of staggered shock-coiled tines, it is designed to aggressively lift out matted grass, moss, and surface debris, restoring airflow and improving soil-to-root contact.

Ideal for use during the growing season, the D48 promotes tillering (lateral growth of grass shoots), encouraging a denser, more resilient lawn.

Beyond turf care, the dethatcher is also suitable for refreshing gravel driveways, garden paths, and horse arenas, helping to break up compacted surfaces and redistribute loose materials.

The system includes three 25-litre ballast tanks, which can be filled with water to add downward pressure when needed for tougher conditions or denser ground.
