The left hand drill bits came in handy with my small battery operated hand drill and an endoscope. The drill bits with the hand drill in reverse allowed me to drill out a bolt on a Crankcase Speed Sensor on my VW Passat. It took the head off this then allowed me to withdraw the sensor, then using a 1.5mm extended left hand drill bit, I was able to drill a slot into what remained of the bolt. Then using a flat head screwdriver I was able then to unscrew the last part of the bolt. These drill bits are very strong and durable.
