The Stihl FS90 is the replacement to the FS85, the old model was powered by a standard 2-stroke engine, although very economical, the unit did give a high emission output, now the new FS90 is powered by the low emission 4-Mix engine. It has a solid driveshaft and offers the end user more flexibility with a choice of cutting attachments, the FS90 will also allow the fitting of interchangeable gearbox attachments as did the FS85.
