The TOMKAT S cable locator is a fully functional pipe and cable detector. This improved version, from the TOMKAT 2, is rugged, lightweight and packed with loads of enhanced features such as a speaker that can be held close to the ear for use in noisy environments.
Simple to use controls allow for adjustment of the sensitivity and enable rapid switching between the TOMKAT S three operating modes.
This instrument has a location accuracy of ± 10% of the depth. Depending on the mode the P.A.C.T. TOMKAT S2 Pipe and Cable Locator is placed in and the condition of the ground, this instrument can detect cables located up to three metres beneath the earth. Please see the following table for further information.
