Battery Bank Charging Locker

Here we look at the ever growing popularity of the battery bank or what some people like to call charging locker. This item has been targeted for review due to its increasing reputation on site and in offices.

How do they work?

Each of the 10 doors has a key locking system that is made active once a pound coin is inserted into it much like you may see at swimming pools. The keys are numbered to prevent loss of access and the hasp locks make the lockers as secure as can be. Within each locker there are 2 gang RCD protected 13 Amp outlet power sockets like you would find in your home ready to use whilst the battery bank is secured and you are off maybe at lunch or in a meeting. These charging lockers really are made so you can feel safe about leaving your valued items on charge whilst out and about.

What do people use them for?

People generally use the battery banks for mobile phones, power tools, pocket laptops or tablets but they of course can be used for any charging device that they can fit in there. We have seen them being used as a normal locker but with the advantage of having 2 power points if desired and we have sold them to a variety of different locations such as sites, offices and even schools.

Why are they growing in popularity?

In today's technology driven society we are finding that more of our items require charge and need to be ready for the days work ahead. Also people are realizing that time is becoming even more so important to us and wasting time waiting for devices to charge can be a real pain. Leaving items overnight to charge in these battery banks ensures that everything is secure and also ready for use immediately. We have seen sales increase dramatically for these charging lockers and expect that to continue over the next 12 months.

Got any second hand banks?

We are constantly looking to purchase used Battery Banks so if you have any second hand ones or any that you cannot sell we will be happy to take them off your hands or pay you for them.

If you are worried that they are in an unsaleable condition, do not worry! We have rebuilt hundreds of these and have all the components required. From new doors to new sockets to coin mechanisms we will be able to refurbish them to an excellent state.
