Powered by the extremely powerful Hyundai IC390E 389cc 4-stroke OHV engine producing a max output of 6500w/6.5kW, the HY6500SEi is capable of powering a number home appliances allowing you to take the modern luxuries of home with you wherever you go. Ideal for the serious motorhome, sportshome or horsebox enthusiasts, uses include: Motorsport, Equestrian, Home standby, DIY Garage. Its high power makes it the ideal complement for professionals who need a portable power source and guarantees to work with high performance and consumption machines.
The compact symmetrical suitcase generator design allows effective storage, transportation and manoeuvrability. Weighing 89kg combined with the front and rear molded grip handles and four wheels make transportation easy across a variety of surfaces.
The HY6500SEI petrol generator houses the latest Hyundai digital inverter technology designed to cope with inductive loads applied when using power tools and electric motors with high start up currents. The LCD display makes it easy to monitor the performance of the generator, displaying voltage, frequency and hours run.
The control panel features 2x 230v sockets for use with any appliance which uses a standard 3-pin 13amp UK mains plug, 1x 32amp 230v socket, 12v DC battery charging outlet and 5v DC 3.1amp USB socket ideal for charging mobile phones & tablets. The HY6500SEi is a very quiet generator running at 25% load, the noise level is 55dB at 7m.
Producing a pure sine wave output, it can safely power sensitive electronics without risk of damage from unstable sine waves or frequency fluctuation. Starting the generator is simple with key start or a wireless remote start system that will start and stop the generator up to 15 metres away. There is also the option to start and stop the generator with the ATS function, this allows the generator to be connected to an ATS or AMF unit (Automatic Transfer Switch/Automatic Mains Failure) so the generator will start in the event of a power failure. This function can also be used to connect to a wired remote ON/OFF switch (often called 2-wire start). NB- Please use a petrol additive when the generator is not to be started for more then 2 weeks to prevent unleaded petrol from deteriorating. Also ensure the battery is fully charged at all times.
Built to be user-friendly with low maintenance requirements the HY6500SEi features digital overload protection to protect the generator from being overloaded, and low oil shutdown also turns off the generator should the oil levels drop too low.
Highly economical, the HY6500SEi has a “ECO” mode which, when selected, will lower the engine speed to match the load applied to the generator, which in turn increases the fuel economy, lowers noise levels and extends the lifespan of the engine making the HY6500SEI portable generator extremely economical.
