New Legislation
Under BS EN 3 Operative, from the 1st May 1997 all new Certified Fire Extinguishers used in the European Countries must feature Red Bodies. This new Operative replaces the old BS5423. Existing equipment does not have to be replaced and can remain in place until the end of its service life.
