• The IPx5 test relates to the water-resistance of an electrical product. The test requires that a product has passed a test from water jets in addition to the less severe falling-water and splashed-water tests of the more common IPx4 standard.the IPx4 test involves spraying water from holes 0.4mm diameter at a rate of 0.07l/minute with the holes being laid out in a semicircle with a pitch of 50mm.
