197.99 2026-06-01Pruning established trees, cutting up fallen limbs, reducing log sections for the fire — these are not jobs for a small pruning saw. The Hyundai HY40CCS350 is a 40V cordless chainsaw with a 14" / 350mm bar, powered by two 20V lithium-ion batteries. The brushless motor drives the chain at up to 20 m/s, and the 200ml automatic oil system keeps the bar and chain lubricated throughout the cut without stopping to oil manually. An anti-kickback chain brake provides an additional layer of safety when working around the garden. No petrol, no fumes, and no cord — well suited to tree surgery and log cutting tasks in a domestic garden setting.
The 350mm / 14" bar handles branch diameters and log widths that a pruning saw or 6" compact chainsaw cannot manage cleanly. It is the right tool for taking down medium-sized branches, clearing sections of windfall, or cutting logs up to a manageable size for transport or splitting.
The 200ml oil tank feeds the chain automatically throughout cutting. You do not need to stop between cuts to oil the bar manually — the system maintains the lubrication level while the saw is in use, reducing wear on the bar and chain.
The anti-kickback chain brake stops the chain rapidly if the saw kicks back unexpectedly. This is a standard safety feature for chainsaw work, and its inclusion on a cordless machine means you do not have to compromise on safety in exchange for the convenience of battery power.
Two 4.0Ah batteries provide around 12 minutes of active cutting time. For typical garden tasks — reducing a fallen branch, cutting firewood from one or two trees — this is sufficient. The brushless motor requires no maintenance beyond keeping the bar, chain, and oil system clean.
All tools in the Hyundai 20V cordless range share the same battery platform. One battery works across every tool in the collection — so batteries you already own are ready to use straight away, and additional batteries charged for one tool are available for any other.
Several tools in the range, including this one, run on two 20V batteries in series to deliver 40V. These dual-battery tools are part of the same system and use the same 20V batteries as the single-battery tools.
Please note: 20V 2nd Generation batteries (SKUs starting HY20 or HY40) are not compatible with 1st Generation 20V MAX batteries (SKUs starting HY21).
