Powered by two 20V lithium-ion batteries running in series, the 40V brushless motor drives a 34cm string trimmer for lawn edges and a 25.5cm three-blade steel brush cutter for tougher, thicker vegetation. Switching between heads takes seconds thanks to the split shaft design, and the included shoulder harness spreads the load for longer sessions. Three selectable speed settings let you match power to the task at hand — no wasted energy, no overworked motor.
The three-blade steel brushcutter head spins at 6,200 RPM and cuts a 25.5cm swath through dense weeds, brambles, and rough grass. No petrol, no fumes, and no cord — just consistent cutting power whenever you need it.
Swap to the bump-feed string trimmer for clean lawn edges and tight corners. The 34cm cutting width and dual 2mm line deliver accurate results along borders, fences, and pathways.
Two 4.0Ah batteries provide sustained runtime at 40V. Three speed settings — 5,000, 6,500, and 8,500 RPM — let you conserve charge on lighter jobs and open up full power when conditions demand it.
The handlebar grip and included shoulder harness distribute the machine's weight away from your hands and wrists. The straight, split shaft makes storage and transport straightforward.
All tools in the Hyundai 20V cordless range share the same battery platform. One battery works across every tool in the collection — so batteries you already own are ready to use straight away, and additional batteries charged for one tool are available for any other.
Several tools in the range, including this one, run on two 20V batteries in series to deliver 40V. These dual-battery tools are part of the same system and use the same 20V batteries as the single-battery tools.
Please note: 20V 2nd Generation batteries (SKUs starting HY20 or HY40) are not compatible with 1st Generation 20V MAX batteries (SKUs starting HY21).
