Petrol mowers need fuel, servicing, and winter storage care. Corded electric mowers need an extension cable and a socket that reaches the far end of the lawn. The Hyundai HY40CLM38 removes both problems. Powered by two 20V lithium-ion batteries in series, this 40V brushless mower cuts a 38cm / 15" strip per pass and runs for up to 50 minutes on a full charge. Five cutting heights from 20mm to 65mm handle everything from a fresh trim to longer grass that's been left a while. The 36-litre collection bag, soft-grip folding handle, and operator presence control round out a machine that's ready to use straight from the box.

Up to 50 Minutes of Uninterrupted Cutting

Two 4.0Ah batteries provide up to 50 minutes of runtime — enough to cut most small to medium-sized gardens on a single charge. When the batteries run down, the dual 4A charger tops both up simultaneously, so you're not waiting long before the next session.

Five Heights for Every Grass Condition

The single-lever height adjustment covers five positions from 20mm to 65mm. Drop to the lower settings for a neat finish on a regularly maintained lawn; raise the deck to tackle longer growth or manage grass through periods of drought without scalping.

Rear Collection for a Clean Finish

The 36-litre rear collection bag captures clippings as you cut, leaving a clean surface without raking. The half-plastic, half-polyester bag construction keeps it light while maintaining its shape when full.

No Fumes, Less Noise, Less Maintenance

Without an engine, there's no oil to change, no spark plug to check, and no carburettor to clean at the start of each season. The brushless motor is reliable and requires no routine servicing beyond keeping the deck clear of built-up clippings.

The Hyundai 20V Battery System

All tools in the Hyundai 20V cordless range share the same battery platform. One battery works across every tool in the collection — so batteries you already own are ready to use straight away, and additional batteries charged for one tool are available for any other.

Several tools in the range, including this one, run on two 20V batteries in series to deliver 40V. These dual-battery tools are part of the same system and use the same 20V batteries as the single-battery tools.

Please note: 20V 2nd Generation batteries (SKUs starting HY20 or HY40) are not compatible with 1st Generation 20V MAX batteries (SKUs starting HY21).
