Trimming the lower branches of a garden tree, cutting back an overgrown shrub, or reducing small sections of timber are tasks where a compact saw does the job faster and with less effort. The Hyundai HY20CCS150 is a 20V brushless cordless chainsaw with a 6" / 150mm bar. At 1.4kg net weight, it's light enough to use with one hand on accessible branches. The automatic chain lubrication system feeds oil from a 50ml tank throughout cutting, and the 2.0Ah battery provides up to 18 minutes of active cutting time. No fuel mixing, no fumes, and no cable to manage around a tree.
At 1.4kg without accessories, the HY20CCS150 is substantially lighter than full-sized battery chainsaws. This makes it practical to cut branches in difficult positions, from a step ladder, or in positions where a heavier machine would be tiring to control.
The 2.0Ah battery provides around 18 minutes of active saw time. For light pruning sessions, this is generally sufficient to complete the task without stopping to recharge.
The 50ml oil tank feeds chain lubricant automatically while the saw runs. Check the level before each session and the system handles the rest — no stopping mid-cut to apply oil manually.
At 95 x 400 x 235mm assembled, the HY20CCS150 fits on a shelf or in a tool box. It is the kind of tool you store ready for occasional use without reorganising the shed around it.
